Chart notes
END OF ROMANCE (IRE) stalked the early pace between rivals on the first turn, then went up to press the leaders two wide, made a two wide bid leaving the turn and went on even term for command by the furlong marker and kicked clear in the furlong grounds to prove best under a drive. HOLD THE SALSA set the pace on the inside and was well rated on the front end, headed nearing the furlong marker and could not match strides with the winner in the final sixteenth while keeping on for the place award. VAX A NATION was off a step slow, settled early and moved out on the backstretch, three to four wide on the far turn and came widest into the lane and had a mild late kick to gain the show award. COCKTAILS AT NOON tracked the pace and was hard held on the inside and a bit in tight by the six furlong marker, then continued to saved ground to upper stretch and moved out in the lane but had no kick. INTO IT tracked the pace from the outside and was three wide throughout, made a mild bid leaving the turn but flattened out.
