Chart notes
SQUARE CAT set the pace under pressure from SUMMANUS while two-wide, opened a clear lead nearing the eighth pole and drew off to win handily. BIG STICK saved ground while being allowed to settled, angled out to e two-wide nearing the eighth pole splitt9ng rivals ad finished in a mild rally. SUMMANUS prompted SQUARE CAT from along the inside to near the stretch and held on well for third. MAN OVERBOARD saved ground while being reserved off the pace but lacked a rally when asked. GIANOLA settled in the back of the field early, came five-wide into the stretch and failed to seriously threaten. ARTEMUS GORDON was forwardly placed while racing three-wide, came four-wide into the stretch and weakened. QUIET CHARM was unhurried while racing two-wide and failed to menace.
