Chart notes
INNISFREE ISLE travelled with runners on each side while three wide in the initial bend, crept closer to the lead group between foes two wide along the backside, made a good rally on the fence in the far turn at the quarter pole, "slingshotted" to the outside gathering more speed four wide turning for home, grinded away while on the incorrect lead coming to the leader in mid-stretch, switched leads with seventy yards to go and was opening up at the wire for the win. WORKOUT AFFAIR tracked just outside early on, travelled smoothly taking aim just behind the pacesetter down the backside, edged up on the outside in the far turn to take over control three wide between foes at the top of the lane, ran on well to the end but could not repel the late charge by the winner in deep stretch. HANDSINTHEAIR broke in at the start filling the void from the slow starter, settled in mid-division four wide on the first bend, moved up smartly while in hand three deep outside down the back straight, was roused to go after the top pair at the three eighths pole, shifted out in the five path for the drive, still could not continue on with the lead pair in upper stretch but did finish up well enough to catch the early leader who was fading late for third place in the final seventy yards. EARENDEL battled outside for the early lead, angled in opening up midway of the first turn to be loose up top along the backside, had company come to her outside at the quarter marker, dug in until the furlong pole inside runners but had nothing left late and faded on the rail in deep stretch holding for a minor share. R CANADIAN APPLE leapt up at the start to be ahead of only the other poor starter in the early stages, edged up between horses under a snug hold in the two path at the half, advanced mildly three wide between rivals on the final turn but was one paced in the four path to the finish line. BELLA CLASSICA broke in the air to trail the field in the early going, caught up to runners going four deep outside by the half, moved five wide in the second turn while urged right handed but could not make any progression taking the overland route but never gave in and kept trying to the finish gradually gaining on fellow rivals to the wire. BEACH CRICKET had a rail spot in mid-division, , backed away to see the field at the half, had no rally going three wide on the far turn and could only manage tp pass a couple of tired runners in the lane. SHE'S PRETTY contested the pace on the rail in the beginning, had to be checked on the fence when having trouble navigating the first turn, recouped to track on the fence sitting just behind the pacesetter down the backside, was roused but offered no response when backing away at the three eighths marker and had little to give just off the rail in the stretch run. DIXIE IS A BREEZE was in the two path near the rear between foes, still remained close to the back of the pack three deep midway down the backside, was hard ridden three wide going in the wrong direction with five sixteenths from home and made little impression shifting out five wide coming up empty in the stretch drive.
