Chart notes
PAPA YO tracked inside, was ridden in the two path around the far turn, swung out to the six path at the top of the lane, rallied past inner foes, and drew clear. OVIATT CLASS bumped with an inner foe at the start, rated inside, angled out to the five path passing the eighth pole, and ran on for place. HOODLUM bumped with an outer foe at the start, stalked in the four path, bid three wide passing the quarter, but flattened from the four path in the final furlong. RIVALRY was keen early and set the pace in the three path up the backstretch, got challenged by an inner pair passing the half, lost the lead at the top of the stretch, and yielded in the final furlong. EMBER chased in the two path but made no closing bid. ICARUS trailed in the three path and never threatened. THE THUNDERER prompted the pace in the two path, bid between foes passing the half, was driven from the rail around the far turn, but gave way in the stretch.
