Chart notes
ELEGANT SWAY hopped a bit at the start, chased four deep to the turn, rounded the bend in the five path, took over in upper stretch and was kept busy to the wire. ISABEL LUDLOW chased the leader inside a trio of rivals, launched a rail bid leaving the turn, fought with ELEGANT SWAY into the final furlong and finished a game second. ROSE OF JERICHO chased three deep to the turn, went four wide around the bid, challenged in upper stretch but got outkicked by the top pair. OUTRAGEOUS chased after the lone speed between rivals, navigated the turn three wide, bid in upper stretch but flattened down the lane. SHANGHAI SUNRISE trailed two to three wide, angled out in upper stretch and proved no menace. GOLDEN AND BLUE sped clear and set the tone up the backstretch, showed the way in the two path through the turn, challenged from both sides at the top of the lane and weakened in the furlong grounds.
