Chart notes
BLACK CLOUD veered in at the start, then was hustled forward after the early leaders, bid for the lead at the quarter pole while getting some pressure from CUSTOM SPARK, went clear into the stretch and unchallenged to the wire. CUSTOM SPARK settled well off the pace in the initial stages, then move to join the leaders leaving the three furlong pole, got a head in front of BLACK GOLD passing the quarter pole but found that foe resurgent, surrendered the lead in upper stretch and chased gamely to the finish. RAISE THE BET was off slowly then steadily advanced through the middle of the race to gain contention by the middle of the turn, finished up well but was not quite good enough to threaten. HERECOMESCROCKETT broke sharply and was sent to the front, got some pressure from BLACK CLOUD before the half, vied inside to the turn then gave way near the five-sixteenths marker and went evenly late. LINCOLN PRODUCTION got shuffled back at the start when BLACK CLOUD came into the path, moved up into contention before the turn, was looking to get off the rail from the middle of the turn, but was unable to do so until mid-stretch. REDREBELPRODUCTION broke well, then backed up through the field, was far behind before the turn, and was outrun throughout.
