Chart notes
REXINATOR settled three-wide just off the pace to the start of the turn, then moved to challenge for the lead and pulled even at the five-sixteenths marker, met little push-back while taking over the lead at the quarter pole, went clear in the stretch and was all-out to hold off a determined rival in the late stages. LOUISIANA BARGAIN raced three wide behind the pace down the backstretch, launched a three-wide bid on the turn, pulled even with the leaders at the quarter pole, chased REXINATOR through the stretch, was gradually closing the margin and ran out of time. AWESOME WILLIAM hopped in the air at the break, spotting the field a head start, was the distant trailer to the turn, and passed a few rivals in the lane to gain the show. TACLOBAN was off slowly then rushed up, making a gradual advance on the leaders to the half-mile pole, then started to weaken on the turn, started to come back on the steadied at the 1/4, kept to task and managed to pick off a couple of tired rivals to improve. I BET YOU WONT was a bit slow into stride then rushed up to share the lead with QUICKONTHETRIGGER, dueled inside of that rival then gave way passing the quarter pole and went evenly late. QUIKONTHETRIGGER broke well, dueled outside of I BET YOU WONT through the far turn, weakened before the stretch and faded late.
