Chart notes
KANTKNOWITALL vied inside for the lead, dueled on the turn, battled heads apart with POINT LIAM in upper stretch, then drifted out through the final furlong and held on. POINT LIAM vied two wide for the lead, dueled on the turn, dug in gamely outside of KANTKNOWITALL, dueled with that rival through the stretch, was carried out wide through the final furlong and continued willingly to the finish. JERRY'S TURN broke a step slow, stalked three wide, chased on the turn, lacked a bid and finished evenly for third. HARBOR OF GOLD tracked on the inside, chased on the turn and had no rally. CISCO KID raced off the pace, inside on the turn and gained some ground on the rail in the stretch. CAPTAIN QUICK raced off the pace inside, angled out and failed to threaten. DIRTY HARRY raced two wide off the pace and did not factor. After a Stewards Inquiry into the stretch run, KANTKNOWITALL was disqualified and placed second.
