Chart notes
CANDY REWARD raced up between rivals after the first eighth to be with the leaders at the first call, took command into the turn to be clear after a half mile and widened when called upon to draw away as much best unthreatened in the lane. CLOUD IN THE WIND reserved off the pace mid-pack to the bend, rallied to prominence nearing the quarter pole and gained the place in a long drive. TRIPLE R RATED broke well to be on the early lead, settled to a pressing trip leaving the half mile pole, continued to loom to the quarter pole, could not match the winner and kept-on through the lane battling for the runner-up spot. RUSTY MY BROTHER trailed in the early going, rallied on the turn circling five wide and showed some interest with a mild bid through the lane. GENEVIEVE'S Z VA was not a threat. SHORTY MAC showed early speed to duel on the pace and faded from contention on the bend.
