Chart notes
MOMENTOUS MISS pressed the pace to the top of the lane, rallied three wide in upper stretch to overtake the pacesetter inside the eighth pole and pulled away. DOWN IN THE BAYOU unhurried to be the trailer, saved ground to rally up the fence in the lane and surged with a good late rush to be up for the place in a belated bid. NAUGHTY FAVORS slow in the first few strides to be at the back, quickly moved up to track the leaders into the turn and kept-on with good interest in the stretch. JOYS OF SUMMER tracked the leaders from the inside through the turn, angled out for the drive and mounted a mild bid in the lane. LENA KAHLENA set a pressured pace down the backside, opened a clear lead on the turn, held the lead to mid-stretch and weakened in the final eighth. LAST GLIMMER was not a threat.
