Chart notes
PENSACOLA made the lead soon after the start, set the pace under pressure into the turn, shook clear before the quarter pole, widened into the stretch and won under mild right handed urging. KONTEEKEE with the second flight inside, angled out to the four path at the top of the stretch finished second best. CALL IT A NIGHT never far back, finished with good courage along the rail. RERUN bumped at the start, settled with the second flight two wide and faded in the stretch. COOL COUPLE pressured the winner two wide into the turn, kept on into the stretch then gradually weakened and finished on even terms with RERUN at the wire. ACTION MAN was no factor. BLAKE JAMES stalked the early pace three wide and weakened on the turn. PICARO bumped at the start and was no threat.
