Chart notes
TABULA ROSSO broke sharply then was allowed to settle off the pace while four wide, inherited the lead in the far turn, responded to a looming threat midstretch and held safely. BIZNESS ACCOUNT was under a snug hold due to traffic leaving the chute, found running room nearing the quarter pole, was roused then set sights on TABULA ROSSO, but lacked the kick that was needed. HOLMDEL HORNET trailed, was brushed near the three-sixteenth pole, and got up late for show. PATRIOTIC FREEDOM late bid and flattened out. DARK PASSENGER stalked the pace from between foes, and was unable to move on with the field. I KNOW SOMEONE pressed the pace leaving the backstretch, and was unable to sustain the bid needed. MAVERIKIE set the pace from the rail, and tired early.
