Chart notes
UPBEAT MELODY vied for the lead in the two path, dueled rival in the stretch and just held. TAPIT SAM stalked the pace from the three path, bid to challenge the lead at the five sixteenths to duel foe in the stretch and just missed. RACE DRIVER a step slow out of the gate, steadily advance up the backstretch, split rivals four wide in the turn but could not close in the stretch. CARL G raced off the pace in the three path, loomed boldly along the outside of in the turn to improve position. AFRICAN WARRIOR stalked the pace from the four path, retreated after half. CRANKSHAFT vied for the lead on the inside, retreated after half. LITTLE MIGHTY MAN settled off the pace in the two path, trailed after the first quarter, no factor.
