Chart notes
NAMBITI never far back, rallied five wide through the turn and upper stretch, made the lead inside the furlong marker and drew clear late under a strong hand ride. HITE allowed to settle, moved up four wide in upper stretch, shifted outside the winner and finished clear for second. SOCIAL HISTORY had speed from the start four wide, loomed boldly three wide nearing the quarter pole, kept on and was outfinished. WEEKEND BUZZ set a pressured pace two wide until deep stretch then weakened. PECKS NOT BAD pressed the pace along the rail until deep stretch then weakened. HARTSTEIN pressed the early pace three wide and retreated on the turn. BABA LOOEY was outrun. ROSCO P. COLTRANE reared at the start and was no threat. SAMMY AND SHORTY well back, pulled up injured on the turn and was transported off the track via equine ambulance.
