Chart notes

LAPIS LAZULI broke forwardly, dueled out of the chute closest to the inside, crept away late backstretch while continuing to save ground, cleared in the turn and was not threatened to the wire without feeling the whip to win in handy fashion. MEGA SHACK broke with the two early leaders, faced forwardly and three wide up the backstretch, proved no match for the winner in the drive, clearly second best. SIDETOWN dueled outside the winner in the early going, fell back off that one with a quarter to run, could not contain the runner up late in the turn, saved the show. HARD CANDY broke back, made little impact while racing three wide. SMACKZILLA also broke back, saved ground to no avail to be always outrun. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
