Chart notes
TIZ BIG MONEY stalked the pace from three wide down the backside, tiped out to engage the leaders turning for home, battled through the lane and edged clear in the final yards. IMPOSTER SYNDROME squeezed at the start, recover quickly to track the leaders from the fence into the turn, lost position on the bend and rallied well in the lane to be gaining late. BRENNAN'S WAR pinched at the break to drop to the rear of the main body of the field, rallied on the turn to be prominent in upper stretch, challenged the leader at the eighth pole and flattened out late unable to sustain the bid. MAKE THE BED broke out ward crowding his rivals to the outside, straightened away to set the pace under constant pressure and weakened in upper stretch. ELUSIVE CHANGE was held at the start in the confusion of BRADY breaking through the gate just prior to the start, and gave the field many lengths away from the gate and went evenly from there and was declared a non-starter. BRADY prematurely popped the gate just before the official start, was attempted to be pulled up and galloped out the race from the rear of the field and was declared a non-starter. SILENT SPECTRE broke inward bumping rival, pressed the pace to midway on the turn and gave way. THE STEWARDS POSTED AN INQUIRY INTO THE START, UPON REVIEW THEY DETERMINED THAT BRADY PREMATURELY BROKE FROM THE GATE AND RECEIVED AN UNFAIR START, AND CONSEQUENTLY ELUSIVE CHANGE WAS HELD BY THE ASSISTANT STARTER AND ALSO RECEIVED AN UNFAIR START, BOTH WERE DECLARED NON-STARTERSAND MONIES REFUNDED.
