Chart notes
JOHN DUTTON set the pace under steady pressure, kicked clear turning for home when called upon and drew off in the lane convincingly. HECTOR was away slowly to be at the back of the field, remained unhurried down the backside, rallied on the turn swinging eight wide for the stretch run and surged late on the outside to be up for the place. FLEUR DELACOUR raced mid-pack to be well in striking distance, rallied in the lane to be finishing well and was outkicked for the palce. TARSUS WARRIOR pressed the pace for the first quarter mile, settled off the leader into the turn, re-bid turning for home to be prominent midway down the lane and weakened in the final sixteenth. HOLD MY BEER BRO was not a threat. KOTYLOS stalked the pace while racing wide down the backside, angled into the three path on the turn, drifted back out wide at the top of the lane and faded coming home.
