Chart notes
GUNNER'S GOLD advanced along the rail under a strong hold to gain a narrow lead at the half mile marker, set a pressured pace into the stretch, shook clear before the furlong marker and won under confident handling. FINISTERE allowed to settle, rallied outside in the six path through the stretch and finished clear for second. EILEEN'S DESPERADO hopped at the start, rushed to contention three wide, pressed the pace into the stretch then was outfinished. GAISGEACH drifted out at the start and passed tiring rivals in upper stretch. DIXIE MAN was no threat. UNION SWAG had speed along the inside through the turn, stopped abruptly in upper stretch and jogged to the wire. ISLAND BOSS set the pace to the half mile marker two wide, kept pressure into the turn, stopped after a half and jogged to the wire.
