Chart notes
MUGATU trailed in the two path, was driven in the three path around the far turn, angled out to the seven path in upper stretch, rallied outside of foes to take command passing the sixteenth pole, and drew clear. ARMY HERO bumped with an inner foe at the start, rated in the two path, waited along the rail around the far turn, was roused from the three path at the top of the lane, and ran on. SPEED INSTITUTE laid up close in the three path, bid around the far turn, led in the four path at the top of the stretch, but drifted out passing the eighth pole, and was caught around the sixteenth. SHATTUCK raced off the pace in the three path, was driven between foes around the far turn, floated out to the six path in upper stretch, and weakened in the final furlong. FARLEY HALL set the pace in the two path, but lost the lead passing the quarter, and yielded down the stretch. QUEBRANCHO stalked in the four path but weakened. BORN FLASHY tracked in the three path but retreated. BOURBON OUTLAW bumped with an outer foe at the start, chased in the four path but never threatened.
