Chart notes
HERCHEE tracked inside, was coaxed midway around the far turn, bid while swinging from the six path into the lane, took the lead passing the eighth pole, and held sway. OLE CRAZY BONE set the pace in the two path, was cued midway around the far turn, dug in from the three path down the stretch, but got edged out by an outer foe thru the final furlong. SANTORINI was up close in the four path, bid in the three path around the far turn, but faded in the four path down the stretch. BOURBON RESOLVE trailed in the two path, was one paced down the stretch, but improved position. TALL BOY had a slow start, raced off the pace in the three path, fanned out to the seven path turning into the stretch, but made no closing bid. OUT OF DEDUCTIONS rated in the two path, was ridden around the far turn, but weakened in the final furlong. SKYRO stalked in the three path early but faded.
