Chart notes
FLYING SAMURAI , quickly went clear, was nicely rated towards the inner rail, responded when set down two wide in upper stretch and held firm under a drive. JET FLIGHT saved ground, edged up into the far turn, chased to upper stretch, shifted out in mid stretch and kept on willingly to the inside of VANISKY to earn the place. VANISKY , taken to rate early, angled out near the five eighths, edged up into the far turn, gave chase four wide from the head of the lane then flattened out late. HATCHET CREEK , three wide into the first turn, tracked under rating early on, chased between rivals near the quarter pole and faded. ICE AXE , off the pace and off the inside, chased three deep leaving the three eighths, angled five wide for the drive but came up empty. WILDWOOD'S WARRIOR , taken to rate some early, edged up between rivals leaving the far turn, gave hard chase to upper stretch and faded. ANCIENT MAN settled in the clear, saved ground leaving the far turn and weakened.
