Chart notes
BIG BAD BRASS drafted inside off the top trio into the far turn, upped the tempo four wide into the lane, unable to switch leads in upper stretch, churned on drew even leaving the sixteenth pole, finally swapped over to the correct lead, kicked clear to the wire. NO LOVE FOR JUBA roused on three deep into the far turn, took a brief lead leaving the furlong marker, inside foe through the final sixteenth stayed on well best of the rest. BUDDY BUDDY stalked the pace two wide down the backside, called on between runners leaving the quarter pole, no match for top pair, settled in for the show. CAYENNE CREEK saved ground off the pace into the far turn, shifted out five wide into the lane, went by the faders late. HURRICANE ALERT vied inside down the back stretch, under pressure leaving the quarter pole, faded through the lane. PERSONABLE roused on off the pace two deep leaving the quarter pole, weakened. SUMMONING DENIS slow into stride, never factored late. STRIVE FOR STRIDE trailed throughout.
