Chart notes
THREE POLKS was away alertly to set the pace on the inside came three wide off the bend and drew clear to the furlong marker and moved in and then held sway late to prove best under a drive. BACK FORTY prompted the winner and was two wide on the turn, came four wide off the bend and ran on well late but could not get by in time while clearly second best. PURE LURE tracked the pace along the inside but lacked the needed bid while besting the rest. SWAN POINT was reserved early, two to three path on the turn and swung out five wide leaving the turn and improved late. IRACEBETH was rated along early, two to three path on the turn and came four wide off the bend and weakened. PAULA'S SURPRISE threw head at the break and was off last, three to four path on the turn and came seven wide into the lane and never factored.
