Chart notes
CONQUERING CAT set the pace on the inside and then was headed by the quarter pole but turned back that bid and was clear by the furlong marker and drew away to prove best under mild crop urging and a vigorous hand ride late. BRONX BOYS stalked the pace and made a two wide bid to go on even terms for command by the quarter pole but flattened out in the lane while clearly second best. SKIMBLE SHANKS was reserved early, made a three wide move on the far turn but flattened out in the final furlong, bested the rest. COLLECTION DAY chased the early pace and made a inside middle move nearing the half mile marker and weakened on the far turn. PUNCH IT MARGARET tracked the pace three wide and then was in between rivals by the half mile marker and two wide on the far turn then tired.
