BLUE PILL coaxed from the gate, chased along the inside through the first turn and then three then two wide thereafter, came under encouragement at the three-eighths marker, angled five wide into upper stretch and kicked on belatedly to the wire. KISMEHOLDMETHRLME tracked the pace along the inside coming under a ride with five-sixteenths remaining, cut the corner into upper stretch, offered up a mild bid. PATRONAGE saved ground at the tail of the field, came under coaxing nearing the quarter pole and spun just off the inside into upper stretch, offered up late foot but could not impact the top four.
