Chart notes
LIBERTARIAN dropped back off the early pace, moved four wide in the turn to rally six wide into the lane and closed well late to collar the leaders and go clear under steady handling. BRILLIANT COLORS stalked the pace two and three wide, bid with the winner into the lane then could not go with that one late. OPTIMAL was four wide on the turn while moving up, came five wide into the lane and made a mild bid but could not reach the top ones. PERVASIVE was along the inside, rallied into the lane and gained position late. ELIOT NESS showed speed along the inside while pressed to upper stretch and came up empty late. JAMES'S MOONSHINE moved up outside ELIOT NESS to force the pace to upper stretch and weakened. COWORKER stalked the pace from three or four wide and lacked a rally. DOGE OF VENICE bobbled at the break, chased the pace three wide and weakened.
