Chart notes
MUTAAWID dropped back quickly under urging while sluggish from the gate, saved ground while unhurried at the rear, raced inside to the two path on the second turn, was reserved in the two path down the backstretch, moved to the three path late on the final turn, was roused in the five path into the stretch, rallied outside to make a bid into the final furlong, gained the lead at the sixteenth-pole and prevailed under good handling. CATCH A WAVE was reserved on the outside while tucked into the two path, raced in the three path while asked on the final turn, gained in the four path into the stretch, took the lead near the three-sixteenths pole, led to just before the sixteenth-pole then was overtaken while clear for the place. RUNGIUS stalked the pace on the outside in the two path, was given his cue on the final turn, gained in the three path into the stretch then made a bid, battled with multiple foes under a drive into the final furlong, drifted in outside the sixteenth-pole and weakened but was clear for the show. BOURBON DAY settled on the inside, saved ground through the final turn, was roused in the two path at the quarter-pole, raced behind the pacesetter in upper stretch, moved in while put to the crop near the furlong marker and came up empty. CERTIFIED LOVERBOY moved in while going to the front then went clear, tugged on the bit when taken under restraint, showed the way under a snug hold on the inside, was asked late on the final turn, lost the advantage under a drive in upper stretch and gave way.
