Chart notes
JELLI raced wide through the backstretch, drove four wide and won going away. B C CHU CHU contested the early pace from the three path, dueled inside of NOTHINGBUTSUNSHINE, was overtaken, chased through the stretch, but was no match for the winner. KULSUM sat in striking range between foes, and offered a late mild bid. GOLDIE SOCKS saved ground inside and had no response when called upon. NOTHINGBUTSUNSHINE zipped to the front, dueled outside of B C CHU CHU, and wilted abruptly at the three-sixteenth pole. SADIE MY LADY stalked the dueling pacesetters while five wide, and faded. KEEPMEINPOWER reared leaving, lost rider, did not receive a fair start, did not finish and walked off. STEWARDS INQUIRY- There was an inquiry conducted by the Board of Stewards involving KEEPMEINPOWER. Following a review of the race footage, it was determined that KEEPMEINPOWER was denied a fair start. As a result, all wagers on the horse would be refunded.
