Chart notes
SWISS GUARD broke swiftly before settling back to stalk the pace form the three path, bid for the lead at the three eighths pole and kicked clear in the stretch. PONTUS raced off the pace in the three path, angled in to the two path of the stretch to split horses and rally for the place award. MISTER SHARPIE bumped at the start, moved up to set a pressured pace on the inside but gave way at the three eighths, held for show. TIZWOW pressed the pace from the two path, challenged the lead at the three eighths but could not sustain bid and weakened in the stretch. SMART JOKER bumped at the start, moved up to lead the second flight of horses from the inside, retreated in the final furlong. STAGFLATION raced off the pace in the two path and was never involved.
