Chart notes
SO I'M TOLD sped clear and dictated the pace in the opening stages, rounded the bend two to three wide, drifted into the lane and stayed clear under a strong drive. LAST CALL LONDON stalked along the inside, chased two wide into the lane, finished determindly inside rivals and gained second. WINDRIBBON tracked two wide leaving the backstretch, angled out at the five-sixteenths pole, came five wide into the drive, followed within striking distance through the final furlong and got edged for second. DEVIL BE ME raced in range outside rivals into the turn, angled six wide around the bend, chased after the winner four deep into the final furlong and finished evenly late. CAROL'S COMIC trailed up the backstretch, took the turn two to three wide and failed to respond. LEYAS CANDY chased from off the pace well off the rail, came seven wide into the stretch and failed to menace. TOOK CHARGE was closest in pursuit of the lone leader up the backstretch, went three wide into the turn, moved into the two path briefly at the five-sixteenths pole, tipped back out entering the lane and tired.
