Chart notes
MIRACLE MACK was forwardly placed in the opening quarter, took over a slim lead entering the turn, cleared command at the head of the lane and drew off while ridden out. MIRAGE trailed in the opening quarter, swung four to five wide entering the upper stretch and gained second best. STILLBILLY raced in striking distance along the outside going by the half mile marker, was ridden along three wide around the turn, weakened off the leader in the lane but remained for a share. BOBCAT BITE quickly cleared the lead soon after the start, came under pressure from close running pursuers mid-way up the backstretch, got collared by the eventual winner with three furlongs left to run, ran on around the turn then tired in the drive. HEAVENLY REWARD showed response in early stages, came up empty late on the turn and dropped back. FAST HAT trailed and jogged in.
