AMUNDSON stalked the pace on the outside, made a bid leaving the backstretch, vied in the three path on the turn, took the lead outside the quarter-pole, shook clear into upper stretch, extended the advantage into the final furlong, was kept to the task under a solid hand-ride into the final seventy yards then was eased up while much the best. DADS GOOD RUNNER was hustled from the gate, raced just off the pace, shifted from the two path to the four path midway through the turn, was asked near the five-sixteenths pole, chased the winner in the stretch and narrowly earned the place. TETSU broke a half-step slow then dropped back while a bit slow into stride, settled on the outside, was roused in the three path on the turn, raced high-headed into kickback near the five-sixteenths pole, turned into upper stretch under a drive and improved to get the show. THRILL OF IT was hustled from the gate, moved in near the five-eighths pole, went around most of the turn in the two path then shifted to the three path, was driven into the stretch in the four path and lacked the needed kick then missed the show. LOST IN ROME broke a half-step slow, settled near the back, was taken in hand near the five-eighths pole when a foe dropped back in front, continued towards the rear, moved from the two path to the four path under urging on the turn, angled out in upper stretch and improved position. CONCORDE SPIRIT was urged along towards the rear, shifted from the rail to the three path on the turn, moved out in upper stretch, remained on his inside lead until just before the sixteenth-pole then swapped to the proper lead and was no factor. FUNNY JOKE was urged along near the middle of the field, went around the turn in the four then five path and failed to rally. NEUSCHWANSTEIN was sent hard from the gate, chased early then was well placed just off the pace, saved ground while pursuing the leader on the turn and weakened. JOKING WAY bobbled at the start and was off a half-step slow, rounded the turn in the three then two path and was no factor. BOSS TWEED was hustled to the front then showed the way, went around most of the turn in the two path, dropped to the rail while heading late on that bend and tired. FORWARD MOVE dropped back under urging then fell to the rear, went around the turn in the three then four path, came out into upper stretch and was eased but walked off.. SPUN AND WON settled on the outside, suffered a catastrophic injury late on the backstretch and was pulled up then euthanized on the track.
