EYE OF THE PANTHOR was allowed to settle out of the gate, remained reserved and saved ground up the backstretch, picked up the pace four wide late on the turn, gathered strong momentum entering the head of the lane, swept by mid-stretch and finished going away. ORPHAN SANDY vied inside of SAVOYA RETURN around the first turn, took on the added challenge of rail running SUPRISE ROAD TRIP near the half mile marker, could not match strides with aforementioned rival entering the far turn, never gave up, kept on with response and cleared second best. SURPRISE ROAD TRIP stalked the top pair into the backstretch, made a bold move along the rail to challenge for the lead at the half mile marker, took command and held clear around the far turn, got overtaken by the winner near mid-stretch and weakened to show. MADETHEDEAN'SLIST tracked the top flight along the outside, put to a drive around the far turn, had no response and steadily weakened. SAVOYA RETURN vied inside of ORPHAN SANDY for the lead around the first turn, could not match strides late on the backstretch, faded around the far turn and continued to tire in the drive.
