Chart notes
HAND OVER MY HEART set the pace in the four path, drew away and was roused in the three path nearing the quarter, continued to kick away on his left lead while back in the four path going by the furlong grounds, and held sway. SPAN raced off the pace in the six path, was urged from the four path around the turn, fanned out to the nine path at the top of the lane, and rallied for place late. MIDNITE ALEX tracked in the five path, was ridden in the two path around the turn, and kept on while on his left lead from the four path down the stretch. AFTER MY BROTHER pressed in the five path early, lost touch with the winning pacesetter while being coaxed along in the four path around the turn, and was one paced from back in the five path down the stretch. GOD GUNS N GUTS chased in the six path but did not threaten. COOLTHING trailed throughout around the two path.
