Chart notes
FOXTROT HARRY rated in the two path, split foes at the half to claim the lead at the seven sixteenths, held off challengers and kicked clear in the stretch. BATTLE SCARS raced off the pace in the four path, loomed into contention in the far turn but could not close in the stretch. GENTLE SOUL trailed early, moved up between rivals in the far turn, angled six wide in the stretch to finish well. HALEYS SAILOR raced behind the pace on the inside, moved up to press the pace at the seven sixteenths but weakened in the stretch. WILTON settled off the pace on the inside, trailed after half, angled out five wide in the stretch to improve position. COOKN WIT CATMAN showed good early speed in the two path, relinquished the lead at the three eighths and retreated in the final quarter. IBERIAN RUNNER raced behind the pace in the three path, moved up to press the pace at the seven sixteenths but retreated in the final quarter.
