Chart notes
DENALI RAE underwent shoe repair in paddock, bid wide on the turn, wore down the pacesetter and was up in the late yards. SUE ELLEN MISHKIN quickly sprinted clear, repelled a rival on the turn but weakened and was caught late. FROSTED DIAMOND pursued the loose pacesetter to the stretch and came up empty. MATOULA saved ground off the leaders, faded on the turn then came again while no threat. BETWEEN DREAMS dropped far behind and was never involved. BOCA ROYALTY lacked speed and was always outrun. ROAD TO DREAMS flashed speed down the backstretch and gave way.
