Chart notes
WAVES OF LIBERTY vied for the lead three wide into the stretch, was carried out to the seven path by the leader, rallied under left handed urging to make the lead inside the furlong marker and edged clear under confident handling. HOT PRINCESS set a pressured pace along the inside into the stretch, drifted to the six path then couldn't handle the winner. MANDOLIN BREEZE with the second flight three wide, closed a gap late two wide. THELMA LUCILLE saved ground and went evenly. MOBIL ENSIGN with the second flight two wide, had no impact. VAL'S TWINSTAR pressed the pace two wide into the stretch the gave way.
