Chart notes
SWING STATE broke inward bumping NEED TO KNOW BASIS at the start, set all the pace unchallenged and won as much the best under right handed urging. K KID stalked the pace along the inside and finished second best. GENERAL MATHIS allowed to settle, finished with good courage four wide. RAVEN MOON chased the winner into the stretch and lacked the needed response. SAMMY'S SMILE checked nearing the six furlong marker, dropped back then had no impact. MISTER MOBIL broke outward bumping NEED TO KNOW BASIS at the start and was no threat. NEED TO KNOW BASIS was bumped between horses at the start and always outrun. THE STEWARDS POSTED THE INQUIRY SIGN BUT TOOK NO ACTION.
