Chart notes
EYES ON MOONSHINE vied up front three wide past the wire the first time, began to pull away just before a half, continued to extend that advantage through the final turn, not threatened in the stretch. CHIVATO back off the pace, displayed some mild and belated interest off the inside, not a serious threat to the winner, far, far clear of the rest. LOW ON FUNDS set or forced the pace for just over three furlongs closest to the inside and gave way, continued to weaken stretch. TIZ RIGHT ON TIME void of any speed, remained far back and was never close. GOLDSTRUCK with the pace between horses down the stretch the first time, continued to contest the issue through the first turn, shortened stride and was pulled up backstretch, exited the track via the equine ambulance. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate final time.
