Chart notes
FINANCIAL STRENGTH stalked the pacesetters outside, bid to the front at the top of the stretch and held on in a tight finish over his stablemate. NICOLE'S KING saved ground throughout and finished gamely inside his stablemate. THE GRAYT PUMPKIN dropped back early then offered some late energy to gain the show. JIGGERY POKERY prompted the leader outside, led at the quarter pole then faded late. FLASHY ALEX chased outside and lacked a rally. MYSTIC LUTE sluggish early, rushed wide to contention then faltered. GAMERUN trailed far behind then caught tiring rivals. KHOPESH lagged well back in the two path and was no factor. SCAMP WALKER broke slowest and raced far behind throughout. PONTIAC raced wide and weakened steadily. HAP'S VICTORY led initial quarter mile then began stopping on the turn.
