Chart notes
EXPRESS KID brushed at the start, came in early to get in tight quarters, was under pressure throughout, was under strong handling and held while fully extended. CANNED HEAT was hustled along inside, was taken back into the turn, came again along the rail to contend and was outfinished in a game effort. RUN YOUR MOUTH bumped at the start, vied four across, dropped back leaving the turn, continued willingly and held safely for show. IGNITING EMBERS dueled between horses to the turn, dropped back and went evenly late. PI TIME broke in and bumped at the start, pressed the pace towards the outside, went six wide entering the stretch and lacked a rally. PHANTOM EXPRESS brushed at the start, was crowded early, steadied, dropped back and had no further response. PERFECT GAMBLE broke slowly, raced outside and trailed the field.
