Chart notes
GUARD YOUR SPOT broke out to bump with GRACIE'S CHOICE then vied with EMPIRICAL for the lead, opened clear nearing the eighth pole and increased her advantage. CANTERBURY LANE was off a step slow then bumped with PEARL BLUE, was reserved off the pace, moved up three-wide nearing the quarter pole and finished well for second without threatening the winner. PEARL BLUE broke in to bump with CANTERBURY LANE then was unhurried, came five-wide into the stretch and rallied late. EMPIRICAL vied for the early lead and weakened. BELLA CIAO CIAO saved ground chasing the leaders but lacked a rally. MAPPEMONDE was bumped at the start then allowed to settle, came three-wide into the stretch and failed to seriously threaten. CURLIN'S SONG was forwardly placed early while racing three-wide and tired. GRACIE'S CHOICE was bumped at the start then unhurried, came five-wide into the stretch, angled in during the drive and was not a factor.
