Chart notes
AXTON was allowed to settle early, ranged up five wide through the turn, took control in the stretch and edged clear. SWEET RIVER BAINES was unhurried early, raced four wide into the turn, was no match late and was second best. MAGIC CASTLE set a pressured early pace from the inside and weakened. WEIRD YEAR pressed the early pace from between rivals and faded. CAJUN EDDIE was reserved early, saved ground into the turn and offered no late rally.
