WARTIME HERO tracked the early pace, raced four wide into the second turn, made a bid on TWELVE VOLT, dueled with that rival and surged clear late. TWELVE VOLT followed the early pace, raced three wide into the second turn, angled in while taking a brief lead, met the bid of the winner, dueled through the stretch and was second best. TIGERS 'N BEARS was reserved off the pace, raced six wide through the second turn and finished evenly late. MACHO GRANDE was taken back early, raced three wide into the second turn, angled out to the eight path out of the home turn and finished belatedly. BAREFOOT SAMURAI was void of any early speed, raced three wide into the second turn, angled out through the turn and passed tired rivals late. IMA BIG BOPPER was allowed to settle early, raced along the inside into the second turn, angled out and flattened out. CAJUN MISCHIEF was unhurried early, raced between rivals into the final turn and offered no late rally. HEIR TO GREATNESS was outrun early from the inside and never fired.
