Chart notes
DON'T CROSS JACK made the lead soon after the start, set a pressured pace two wide into the turn, drew off under right handed urging in upper stretch and won under brisk handling. LATIN SPICE pressured the winner along the rail, was in a bit tight entering the turn, shifted out to the four path and held on for second. THE DRAKE trailed into the stretch and closed a gap late two wide. LAUDA SPEED offered a mild bid along the rail in upper stretch then leveled off. OWN THE TOWN was no factor. UNCLEJACKOMO stalked the pace three wide into the stretch then gave way. THE RIDER OF LATIN SPICE LODGED A CLAIM OF FOUL AGAINST THE RIDER OF THE WINNER FOR ALLEGED INTERFERENCE AT THE THREE EIGHTHS POLE. AFTER REVIEW THE STEWARDS UPHELD THE ORIGINAL ORDER OF FINISH.
