Chart notes
FOOLISH GAMES shook loose from the pack to have a clear advantage with a half mile from the finish, travelled comfortably slowing the tempo down around the turn still well in control and was well rationed using her early speed to have just enough in reserve to hold safely by a narrow margin at the wire. ADDENDUM was nestled on the rail watching the pacesetter, ranged up just off the fence through the turn, posed the main threat three wide between horses in upper stretch, edged closer with every stride down the lane but could not get to the winner at the finish. GIZMO'S B F F was content moving in hand tracking the leader outside down the back straight, came under a ride midway through the turn unable to gain on the pacesetter by upper stretch but did finish up well enough down the lane to be a clear but non threatening third in the end. ALA TURKA was nudged alone at the rear in the early going, shifted to the outside at the five sixteenths pole, passed an inside rival while going three wide entering the stretch and continued with interest to pass another rival in the final sixteenth. BLAZING SKY co-trailed on the outside along the backside, had a brief turn of foot three wide passing an inside foe midway around the bend, shifted out in the six path for the stretch drive but had little presence to the finish line. TREVESS was isolated in mid-pack along the backside, was roused for more around the oval but was going in the wrong direction by the quarter pole and could not offer anything in the stretch drive.
