DESIGN DIVA was off slow on the break, travelled three deep on the outside near the rear along the backside, commenced a run three wide at the three eighths marker circling runners on the far turn, swung out six wide full of run in upper stretch and with a strong sustained rally, swept past rivals on the outside in the final seventy yards to win drawing off in the end. RADIO GOO GOO settled in mid-division on the outside three wide in the early stages, had a good turn of foot advancing outside at the three furlong pole, ranged up four wide through the final bend, shifted out to the five path in the mix between rivals at the top of the lane, was no match for the late charge by the winner in deep stretch but did have a late surge of her own to capture the place share right at the finish line. DANCIN MARY MARIE was nestled on the rail after the break, was trouble free on the fence in the first turn to have a clear lead, contested the pace inside down the back straight, dropped back at the three furlong pole to watch the front pair, shifted outside with a quarter mile to run to be in the hunt in the four path in the stretch run, rallied smartly under a savvy ride between horses to bid for the lead at the seventy yards pole but was outkicked in the final seventy yards and was just nosed out at the wire for the place share. AINT NO GIRLY GIRL sat just off the pace in the two path moving well on the first turn, had a good trip watching the lead trio along the backside, edged up smartly saving all the ground on the last turn, darted between horses in the thick of things up front at the furlong pole but could only finish up mildly inside compared to others and settled for a minor role in the end. VRANA (IRE) was pushed out going eight wide entering the first turn, continued to battle on outside to actually have a good spot alone watching the contesting duo down the backside, moved in to bid for the lead at the quarter pole, briefly seized command in the three path by mid-stretch but faded slightly between runners in a wild finish in the final seventy yards. BUTTERFLY BILLIE broke out on the start, was checked losing her path coming under the wire for the first time in the lane, travelled between foes in mid-pack into the backstretch, rallied smartly on the fence midway on the last turn, was looking for a seam three to four wide straightening out for the drive, lacked running room in deep stretch and could not extend her stride fully in the closing stages. LA RONDE was carried out seven wide vying up top into the first turn, kept on moving forward to be outside bidding for the front into the backstretch, had the sole lead by the three furlong pole, had company outside with a quarter mile to run, fought on stubbornly having the fence in upper stretch but yielded inside horses in the final furlong. BLACK DAGGER broke outwards on the start, improved on the fence being one of only a few without traffic problems around the first bend, settled inside runners in midfield by the half, had to be throttled down lacking running room when stuck behind a stopping rival at the three furlong pole and could not get involved in the two path in the stretch drive. CHURCH AVE was squeezed on the break to co-trail outside in the early stages, saved ground on the final turn finally coming up to runners inside at the three sixteenths pole and passed a couple of weary foes on the rail in upper stretch. CONQUER THE STORM had a slow start to co-trail inside in the first bend, stalked ahead of only the troubled starter along the backside, shifted out three wide midway on the last turn trying to offer a rally, drifted out seven wide turning for home and never factored in the stretch running. HUMBLE HEART broke in at the start, shifted inwards to the two path vying up front while quite headstrong heading into the initial bend, blew the first turn going six wide while carrying out a couple of outside runners, was gathered back quickly to sit in the third flight outside along the backstretch, had nothing more to offer in the two path between horses by the three furlong marker and retreated on the final turn.
