Chart notes
LUMIERE hit the outside of his starting gate stall at the break, steadied when bumping with PICCATA PRINCE leaving the chute, prompted the pace, gained a short lead in the three path between horses leaving the turn, opened a clear lead in mid stretch and held sway under steady handling. SOUTHERN BREEZE ranged up four deep leaving the turn to challenge for the lead and continued gamely outside the winner. FIRE WIRE , unhurried early, moved to the three path in upper stretch, remained on his left lead and passed tired rivals. PICCATA PRINCE bumped with the winner near the five and a half furlongs pole, advanced along the inner rail to bid for the lead mid way on the turn and gave way in the drive. FOLLOW YOUR DREAM rushed up inside horses to gain the lead near the half mile pole, raced in the two path between horses on the turn and gave way in mid stretch.
