Chart notes
ROSE VIEW angled in early, steadily advanced up the the backstretch, moved out and continued to advance outside foes on the far turn, dueled in upper stretch, took the lead about the furlong marker, forged clear. QURBAAN D ORO was quick to take the lead, set a swift pace from just off the rail facing pressure by an outside foe, turned back that one and kicked clear late on the far turn, faced a new challenger turning for home, dueled in upper stretch, was overtaken by mid-stretch, proved no match but just saved the place. SOUNDTRACK settled off the pace outside a rival, bided time advancing steadily but as yet without urging heading into and on the far turn, swung out five wide leaving that bend and asked for more, lugged in a bit in upper stretch, straightened out, was gaining too late and just missed second. THUNDER KIN settled about mid-pack racing near the inside, went evenly. KARA was unhurried outside at the rear, passed tired foes. MAGENS BAY stalked the leading pair in behind alternately nearer the fence or outside, altered outside runners in upper stretch, faltered and faded. OVERCAST was unprepared at the start breaking in the air, settled inside at the rear, swung wide into upper stretch and made no impact. FLIGHT ON RACE DAY pressured the leader from outside, was done at the quarter and dropped back.
