Chart notes
NAMESAKE stalked the early leader under a snug hold, overtook BROWNING ISLAND in the final turn, drew off through the drive and was ridden out. GOOD BYE PUTIN allowed to settle at the back of the pack in the early stages, waited leaving the backsretch, closed late but was no match for the winner. ROCKTILLYOUDROP saved ground inside, dropped back in the final turn, and launched a late bid from along the rail and was along in time for show. BROWNING ISLAND saved ground while showing the way, was overtaken and faded gradually. SELF SERVING rated off the pace while four to five wide, and lacked a closing response. VICTORIA'S CHIEF saved ground and failed to threaten.
